Château Arnauld 2017 – Haut-Médoc

The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration as well as a fine power. It reveals notes of cassis, black berries associated with fine touches of red berries, blackberry (in the background) as well as discreet hints of violet and Cuben pepper. The palate is fresh, fruity, well-balanced and offer a good definition, fat, suavity, a mineral frame as well as tension. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy red berries and more slightly fleshy cherry associated with fine touches of blackberry, subtle touches of lily/bulb as well as discreet touches of sweet spices, a very discreet hint of caramelization (in the background/on the finish) and an imperceptible hint of grey pepper. Tannins are fin and dry.
