The nose is elegant and offers power, concentration as well as a very discreetly tight grain. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and more slightly ripe raspberry associated with touches of fleshy violet plum, a fine touch of liquorice, hints of violet as well as a very discreet hint of Cuben pepper, spices, toasted and an imperceptible hint of cardamom (in the background). The palate is juicy, gourmand, well-built and offers a beautiful fleshy/juicy fruit, elegance, finesse as well as a fine acidulous frame (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy blackberry, fleshy/juicy cassis and more slightly fleshy/juicy raspberry associated with touches of fleshy/juicy violet plum as well as a discreet hint of cherry, flowers and an imperceptible hint of liquorice. Tannins are fine and supple. There are very discreet hints of vanilla, toasted and an imperceptible hint of chocolate on the finish/persistence.
