Château Arcole 2022 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

The nose is fruity, floral and offers elegance as well as purity in its definition. We find notes of cherry, bright blackcurrant and small notes of small, bright red fruits associated with touches of lilac; licorice stick as well as an elegant woodiness. The palate is nicely mineral, fresh, elegant with harmony and gourmandise. There is a lovely energy and an electric side to its tangy framework. We have notes of juicy, tangy purple plum, juicy redcurrant and more discreetly blackcurrant associated with touches of blackberry, lilac, lily as well as fine hints of tonka bean, toast and a hint of wood. There are fine notes of cardamom and tobacco in the background. Tannins are fresh, sappy and sapid. Good length and persistence.
