The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is elegant, deep and complex. It expresses notes of fresh morello cherry, dried red cherry, crushed blackcurrant, fresh bigarreau cherry, crushed red plum and fresh red currants. We also find notes of sweet, fragrant spices (nutmeg, liquorice, cardamom), but quite discreet and which do not dominate the fruit. Second nose expresses a fine floral bouquet (violet, rose petals) as well as a touch of torrefaction (heated wood, toasted hazelnut). The palate offers accuracy, juiciness, as well as a chiseled and straight side, thanks to a firm tannin texture (but which remains fine and powdery) and a lively acidity. We find notes of tangy bigarreau cherry, morello cherry, crushed red currant, fresh strawberry, red plum and black plum, associated with notes of liquorice, cardamom, vanilla (in the background), as well as a hint of heated wood and toasted hazelnut. Good length with tasty notes of sweet spices and toasted notes.
