The nose reveals power, concentration and intensity. There are notes of grey pepper, wild strawberry and more slightly violet associated with touches of spice. The palate shows freshness, minerality, some fruitiness and a certain crunchiness of the fruit. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh cherry/crunchy cherry, fresh violet and more lightly small red berries combined with hints of fresh tobacco and a subtle touch of camphor and chocolate. The tannins are well managed. A hint of varietal and even herbal flavours in the background.
