The nose is fruity and offers a fine concentration as well as a very fine power. It reveals notes of blackberry, violet, strawberry and small notes of cassis associated with small touches of lily, liquorice, sugared mild tobacco, a racy minerality as well as fine hints of vanilla and tonka bean. The palate is mineral, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers freshness, suavity, a mineral frame as well as a fine concentration, fat and a racy minerality. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/fresh cassis, pulpy blackberryand small notes of gariguette strawberry associated with touches of violet, lily as well as hints of small fresh/pulpy red fruits, a racy minerality, vanilla, chocolate and discreet hints of toasted. Tannins are very finely marked.
