Château Angueiroun – Prestige 2019 – Côtes de Provence La Londe

65 % Syrah, 20 % Grenache, 15% Cabernet Sauvignon

The wine shows a medium ruby colour with a purple hue. The nose is slightly reductive and smoky, will benefit from aeration. It opens up with nuances of spices, a touch of black pepper and tar, an earthy hint. The palate is completely different, very open and juicy, showing nice fruit sweetness, bold, grippy but ripe tannins and good freshness. The wine opens up with notes of blueberries and blackberries, nuances of cassis and black currant jam, a hint of sweet spices and some liquorice. A light, pleasant bitterness on the finish. Good length.
