The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers freshness, minerality, tension, precision, a tangy frame as well as tension. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh cherry, juicy/fresh small red fruits and small notes of red plum associated with fine touches of fresh violet, hints of racy minerality as well as a subtle hint of tobacco and star anise. Good length. A very nice acidity on the red fruits. A fine mellowness on the finish. Almost a fresh balsamic side on the finish.
