The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a fine richness/intensity and a fine gourmandize. It reveals notes of ripe/fleshy cassis, fleshy/ripe blackberry and small notes of ripe crushed strawberry associated with very fine touches of violet, juicy violet plum, a subtle hint of green pepper (in the background), violet flowers and camphor. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, elegant and offers a beautiful definition, an acidulous/juicy frame, gourmandize as well as a slightly creamy texture. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/crushed cassis, crushed/ripe blackberry and small notes of wild strawberry associated with very fine hints of ripe redcurrant, hints of chocolate/tonka bean, cardamom, toasted as well as discreet hints of caramelization/toasted and toasted almond. Tannins are very fine and elegant. Good length.
