Château Angelot Robin 2020 – Montagne Saint-Emilion 

The nose is fruity and offers a pulpy/juicy fruit, a certain gourmandize and a good definition. It reveals notes of fleshy/juicy strawberry, juicy cassis, small notes of cherry associated with small touches of lily, cherry blossom as well as fine hints of crunchy plum, Sichuan pepper and a discreet hint of tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, suavity, a small freshness, minerality, a good definition, an aromatic purity, gourmandize, fullness and a discreet compact side. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, bright raspberry, small notes of cherry associated with touches of pulpy/fresh violet plum as well as fine hints of sugared mild tobacco, cardamom, a discreet hint of toasted and mild tobacco. A small softness and sapidity in the finish/persistence. Good length.
