Château Andron Blanquet 2020 – Saint-Estèphe 

On the nose, fruity and offers a certain concentration, subtle power, harmony and a freshness. It reveals notes of ripe wild cassis, violet and hints of wild raspberry associated with touches of wild berries, morello cherry, lily as well as fine points of black tea, graphite, spices, discrete points of saffron and vanilla. On the palate, fruity and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandise, a juicy/pulpy frame, a little tension, sweetness as well as opulence and a fine compact side. The wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, violet, bright cassis and more lightly raspberry combined with hints of fresh cherry with hints of tonka bean, cardamom and toasted hazelnut. Good length/persistence.
