The wine has a ruby colour of medium intensity. The nose is rather discreet, the wine benefits from being aerated. It expresses notes of red and black fruits (strawberry, morello cherry, raspberry, blueberry, fresh blackcurrant, blueberry jam, blue plum), sweet spices (clove, cinnamon), as well as aromatic herbs and flowers (dried mint, rosemary, roasted thyme) with a very discreet touch of toasted hazelnut in the background. On the palate, the wine offers juiciness, fresh red and black fruit flavours (red cherry, morello cherry, blueberry, blackcurrant, strawberry), spice (white pepper, liquorice, a hint of cumin), herbs (dried mint, sage) and flowers (blueberry, lily). The finish is juicy, rather persistent, with notes of ripe red fruit (cherry, raspberry) and positive bitterness. The tannins are young and slightly dry.
