The nose is aromatic, gourmand, quite elegant and offers a fine freshness. It reveals notes of wild blackberries, flowers and blueberries combined with touches of crushed strawberry, ripe / crushed red berries as well as subtle touches of flowers, spices, a slight hint of menthol licorice and a very discreet hint of cardamon. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, slightly tight and offers a slight juiciness, a fine acid frame, finesse, elegance, a nice definition, a good guideline, a good structure, a fine straightness, a nice gourmandise, a good definition as well as a fine depthness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of crushed blackberry, blueberry and strawberry associated with touches of redcurrant jam, chocolate, Bourbon vanilla as well as fine hints of of toasted oak / crème brulée. Tannins are slightly mellow, elegant and discreetly dusty. Beautiful persistence with slight touches of chocolate.
