Château Alcée 2023 – Castillon Côtes de Bordeaux

A nice, precise, frank nose, which offers some spices and a textured side. It expresses notes of violet, wild blackberry and more slightly – wild strawberry, associated with touches of fresh wild black berries as well as fine hints of cornflower, star anise and a hint of toasted almond, a fine side tracing on the nose. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity and offers freshness, minerality, good definition, a certain gourmandise, a nice energy in freshness and with a stretched side. It expresses notes of juicy / fresh blueberry, juicy / fresh blackcurrant and more slightly – juicy / fresh raspberry, associated with touches of toast, toasted almond and a subtle hint of toasted almond. Savory and finely mellow tannins. Nice freshness and a saline, melodious character, purity.
