The nose is lovely in elegance with a certain racy power, precision and a little straightness. We have notes of crushed blackberries, small crushed black fruits and small notes of fairly ripe strawberries associated with touches of small roasted red fruits as well as hints of crushed blue plums as well as fine notes of toasted almonds, cloves and chocolate. The palate is fruity, mineral with tension and accuracy. There is a lovely racy energy with a tangy framework. We have notes of pulpy and juicy blackberries, bright tangy blackcurrant and more lightly small, crunchy tangy red fruits associated with a touch of blueberry, toasted almond and nutmeg. There is a subtle, almost iodized hint in the background. We even perceive an imperceptible sappy note in the background, accompanying a lovely freshness and racy, frank tannins in the minerality.
