The nose is fresh, racy and reveals elegance and fine aromatic complexity. There are notes of violet, lily and slightly ripe wild red berries combined with hints of fresh nutmeg, fresh blond tobacco and a subtle hint of cherry, blackcurrant and a very discreet hint of sap. The palate is fruity and offers a tangy texture, juiciness, racy minerality, some volume, roundness, gourmandize and dynamism/energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of tart/juicy small red berries, raspberry and more slightly tart plum combined with hints of lily, violet, fine hints of tart berries as well as discreet hints of fresh liquorice, a subtle varietal hint and a very discreet, almost sappy hint. Good length. The tannins are mellow and well-managed, with some volume and a fine airiness in the approach. Good length and persistence. Some sapidity on the finish.
