Château Adaugusta 2020 – Saint-Emilion Grand Cru

On the nose, fruity and it offers a delicate concentration, a fine power as well as a small aspect of contained richness. It reveals the notes of ripe cherry, pulpy wild strawberry and more slightly cassis associated with cherry, licorice as well as hints of cuben pepper, a discreet touch of vanilla and light tobacco. The palate is fruity, balanced and offers a mineral framework, juiciness, freshness, a certain suavity as well as a little gourmandize and a pulpy/fresh fruit. On the palate, expressing notes of pulpy/juicy raspberry, bright cherry and slightly juicy blackberry combined with hints of berries, fresh violet, licorice as well as discreet hints of toast and nutmeg. The tannins are present and supple.
