The nose is fruity, fresh and offers elegance as well as a certain gritty power (under control). It reveals notes of pulpy cherry, fleshy / ripe redcurrants and more lightly of wild cassis associated with small touches of cherry blossoms, licorice stick, lily as well as a hint of cinnamon and chocolate. The palate is fruity, elegant and offers minerality, an acidulous frame, juiciness, good definition, a certain gourmandize as well as dynamism / energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy / juicy cherry, tangy / juicy raspberry and more slightly of violet associated with touches of blackberry, pulpy purple plum as well as hints of cherry blossoms, licorice, a hint of tonka bean, saffron (on its flowery side) and fine hints of toasted. Tannins are precise and well-built.
