The nose is racy and offers power, concentration (full of control) and a good definition. It reveals notes of iris, blackberry, small notes of violet plum associated with touches of red fruits, lilac as well as fine hints of grey pepper and fresh tobacco. The palate is fruity and offers fat, suavity, a fine straightness, a good structure as well as a fine racy minerality and a small power. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy wild raspberry, wild strawberry, small notes of blackberry associated with touches of lilac, violet as well as fine hints of fresh mild tobacco, a subtle hint of fresh nutmeg and almond. Good length. Tannins are structuring and well-built. A very fine hint of mocha on the persistence.
