The nose is aromatic and offers a fine power/concentration. It reveals notes of crushed wild strawberry, blackberry and more slightly blueberry associated with touches of violet, vanilla, small touches of chocolate as well as very discreet hints of gray pepper and mushroom/underwood. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very finely tight and offers a good definition, an acidulous frame, suavity, juiciness, a small unctuosity as well as a fine tension/straightness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of cassis, ripe raspberry and ripe raspberry and ripe/crushed wild strawberry associated with small touches of tonka bean, caramelization, chocolate and vanilla. Tannins are fine and well-built. There are very fine hints of cocoa and caramelization on the finish/persistence.
