The nose is slightly tight, racy and offers a fine power. This wine should be decanted. It reveals notes of wild strawberry and wild raspberry associated with small notes of blackberry associated with touches of gray pepper, tonka bean and toasted. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers a good definition, a good juiciness, a beautiful mineral frame, a fine suavity/fat, a beautiful finesse of the structure as well as a fine acidulous (in the background). On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy/juicy raspberry and more slightly crunchy cassis associated with small touches of tonka bean, cherry, dry flowers as well as hints of spices, Bourbon vanilla and a very discreet hint of toasted almond/grilled. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and good persistence. There is a hint of tonka bean on the persistence.
