The nose is elegant and offers complexity, elegance as well as fine intensity. It reveals notes of blackberry, wild raspberry and more slightly wild red fruits associated with small touches of black berries/wild blueberry, flowers, hints of Sichuan pepper, discreet hints of spices, violet as well as a very discreet/imperceptible hint of lilac, mushroom and grilled (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, tension/straightness, an acidulous frame, a good freshness, a beautiful finesse of the grain, a beautiful fat as well as suavity. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/acidulous black cherry, acidulous/ripe raspberry and more slightly strawberry associated with small touches of blackberry, mushroom as well as hints of tonka bean/chocolate and discreet hints of spices. Tannins are fine and well-built. Good length and persistence. A beautiful wine!
