The nose is fruity. It deserves to be decanted. We find notes of pulpy blackcurrant, pulpy/chunky strawberry and more slightly of violet combined with subtle touches of pulpy wild red fruits, fine nuances of nutmeg, racy minerality as well as a very discreet touch of gravel and smoke. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, smoothness, freshness and a nice acidic structure. On the palate this wine expresses crunchy redcurrant, juicy/pulpy cherry and slightly wild strawberry notes with hints of juicy blackcurrant as well as hints of violet, tonka bean, cardamom, fine chocolate, racy minerality and a subtle varietal edge, almost of rose petals. Lovely freshness, minerality and suppleness. A subtle hint of pepper in the background in the aftertaste.
