The nose is fruity, fresh, elegant, beautifully racy, precise and reveals a certain intensity of finesse, mastery and complexity. There are notes of quince, zest and some flint and iodine quality combined with hints of ripe, sour white berries, kumquat, fine hints of cape gooseberry and a discreet hint of sweet toasted spice and an imperceptible touch of pepper. The palate is fruity, nicely racy and reveals juiciness, a nice acidic backbone, minerality, suavity, gourmandize, precision, finesse, tension and energy. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy, acidic physalis, ripe, juicy kumquat and more lightly bright vine peach combined with hints of juicy tangerine, nutmeg, zest, fine iodine and discreet hints of varietal/white flowers. A lovely, complex, elegant, full-bodied, gourmet wine with some positive bitterness. Good length.
