The wine has a bright ruby color, of medium intensity. On the nose, it is reserved and requires aeration. It then expresses spicy and toasted notes (liquorice, a hint of cardamom, white pepper, toasted hazelnut in the background), as well as a smoky, floral touch (violet, dried rose) and a mineral framework (dry stone, limestone), enveloped in a tangy fruitiness (crunchy strawberry, raspberry, sour red cherry, cranberries). The palate offers liveliness, juiciness and a tangy fruity flavour (a hint of blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, sour red cherry, cranberries), associated with a mineral limestone touch, floral notes (violet, cornflower), as well as a hint of spice (liquorice, cardamom) and toast in the background. Tannins are well-constructed, powdery and fine. Good length and a salivating acidity on the persistence.
