Charles Krug – Sauvignon Blanc 2016 – Napa Valley

The nose is fruity and fresh. It reveals notes of lime zest and slight touches of lemon associated with small hints of exotic fruits as well as a subtle / very discreet hint of fresh apple (in the background). The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers fat, a beautiful mineral frame, a slight acidity (in the background), a nice freshness, a slight gourmandise as well as juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe lemon and juicy fleshy mandarine associated with small notes of passion fruits, quenette, apple as well as slight hints of fleshy grapefruit.
