The nose is powerful, concentrated, fresh and offers a good structure. It reveals notes of cassis, blackberry and ripe bell pepper combined with touches of crunchy wild strawberries, as well as slight hints of toasted oak, tobacco, tea and slight hints of racy minerality. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers finesse, precision, gourmandise, a beautiful tension, straightness, a racy minerality, freshness as well as a very slight juiciness. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy wild blackberries, wild cassis and slight touches of wild red currants / red berries associated with slight hints of crunchy wild strawberries, hints of toasted oak as well as subtle hints of tobacco and spices. Tannins are fine, tight and a bit dusty. Good length. There are slight touches of Zan and cocoa on the persistence.
