The nose is fruity, racy, slightly powerful and offers a slight concentration as well as a slight density. It reveals notes of blackberry, crushed cassis and small notes of small wild berries associated with hints of Sichuan pepper, flowers, Zan as well as a very discreet touch of Bourbon vanilla. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, racy and offers a good definition, a mineral frame, juiciness, a slight suavity, finesse, a racy minerality as well as a fine and very slightly tight grain. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fleshy cassis, blackberry and small notes of black cherry associated with small / fine touches of dark chocolate, Zan as well as discreet hints of grilled oak, violet and an imperceptible hint of dry forest soil (in the background). Tannins are very fine, slightly tight and slightly mellow. Good length.
