The nose is fruity, structured, quite powerful (well managed) and offers finesse and precision. It reveals notes of blackberry, cassis and fine notes of red berries, strawberry associated with fine touches of violets, a touch of spice as well as a hint of Sichuan pepper, Ceylon tea and a few discreet notes of wood. The palate is fruity, gourmand, elegant and offers suavity, fat as well as a beautiful unctuous matter. On the palate this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis cream and Quetsche plum associated with fine touches of blueberry, cherry as well as fine touches of grilled oak and hints of coffee. Tannins are fine and elegant. Good length and good persistence with notes of caramel.
