Chardonnay de Laffitte Carcasset 2024 – Bordeaux Blanc

The nose is fruity, elegant, it offers a certain delicacy in its fruit and fatness, with lovely definition and a nice little fatness. It reveals notes of quince, crushed apple and small notes of mirabelle plum, associated with fine touches of butter, small yellow fruits, as well as a hint of medlar. The palate is fruity, juicy, mineral, it offers a tangy frame, energy and good definition. It presents a fine, melodious side, good guideline and energy in accuracy. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of quince, pulpy apricot and small notes of pulpy yellow nectarine, combined with touches of butter, kumquat, as well as a subtle hint of almost ripe pineapple in the background, brioche and toasted almond. Good length.
