The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a good finesse of the grain as well as a fine freshness. It reveals notes of fleshy wild blackberry, fleshy raspberry, small notes of pulpy cassis associated with touches of small wild fruits, fleshy blueberry, fine touches of small berries, sense of the place/terroir as well as hints of sweet spices, nutmeg, very discreet hint of pepper and an imperceptible hint of iris. The palate is fruity, well-balanced, very discreetly tight and offers a beautiful minerality, tension, a beautiful definition, a beautiful grain as well as a small fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh blackberry, pulpy/fresh cassis, small notes of fresh strawberry associated with touches of fresh plum as well as hints of violet/fresh cornflower, fine touches of toasted, nutmeg, hazelnut, cardamom and a very discreet hint of tea. Tannins are well-built, elegant and precise. Good length.
