The nose is beautifully led, precise, deep and offers an infusion side, a racy and stretched grain. It expresses notes of dense blackberry, small wild black fruits and more slightly – pepper associated with touches of wild raspberry, as well as fine hints of star anise, tobacco and a discreet hint of infusion and a very discreet hint of camphor. The palate is nicely juicy, fruity, balanced and offers a fresh/juicy frame, a nice definition, delicacy, accuracy, pulpiness and a certain silkiness. It expresses notes of pulpy blackberry, bright raspberry and more slightly – bright purple plum, associated with touches of graphite, cardamom, infusion, as well as fine hints of star anise, toasted hazelnut, chocolate and a fine softness in the background. Freshness and juiciness. Nice cocoa persistence, softness and sapidity of the tannins.
