Champagne Xavier Alexandre – Blanc de Blancs 2010 – Brut

Champagne Xavier Alexandre – Blanc de Blancs 2010 – Brut

The nose is fruity, well-built and offers freshness, a small creaminess as well as a small gourmandize. It reveals notes of crème pâtissière, lemon and crunchy apple associated with fine touches of crunchy brugnon as well as a hint of fresh almond. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers a good definition, a beautiful acidulous frame, vivacity, a beautiful freshness as well as a very fine aerial side. Beautiful finesse, structure and elegance of the effervescence. On the palate this Champagne expresses notes of juicy lemon, juicy/crunchy apple and small notes of fleshy brugnon associated with fine touches of zests, lemon caviar as well as fine hints of toasted, crème pâtissière as well as an imperceptible hint of almond/biscuit. A beautiful Champagne!
