Champagne Mailly – Extra Brut – Grand Cru

The nose is fine, fruity, racy, slightly suave and offers a slight juiciness, a slight intensity as well as a subtle creaminess. It reveals notes of ripe Williams pear and a slight hint of mandarin associated with a subtle hint of spices, yellow fruits, fresh marmalade as well as a slight hint of chalk. The palate is fruity, juicy, well-balanced, racy and offers a nice fat, a slight straightness as well as a beautiful finesse. On the palate this wine expresses notes of ripe / juicy clementine and Granny Smith apple combined with a touch of juicy lemon, orange as well as a very discreet hint of fresh quenette (in the background).
