Champagne Laurent Lequart, Saigné de Meunier – Champagne Rosé

The wine has a raspberry pink color, of medium or even deep intensity. The nose is aromatic and gourmand, with expressive notes of ripe red fruits. We find aromas of wild strawberry, raspberry, red currants, vine peach, tart red cherry and elderberries, combined with notes of dried rose, peony, and a fine hint of red apple pulp, thyme flower and dried mint. There are also subtle touches of toasted brioche and cherry yogurt. In the mouth, the foam is generous and fine. The attack expresses expressive notes of red fruits (raspberry, red strawberry, fresh cranberries and red cherry), associated with a good bitterness of grapefruit, a hint of vine peach and crushed red apple. In the mid-palate, the floral scents of fresh rose and dried rose appear, accompanied by a spicy hint of white pepper, a lactic touch of cherry yogurt and toasted brioche. Good length with bitterness, a spicy touch and dynamic acidity. Accuracy, straightness and complexity, with a savoury fruitiness.
