Champagne Jeaunaux Robin Le Dessous de la Cabane Brut Rosé – Champagne Rosé

Champagne Jeaunaux Robin Le Dessous de la Cabane Brut Rosé – Champagne Rosé

(organic, 60% Meunier, 30% Pinot Noir, 10% Chardonnay, 15% red wine from Meunier, aged in ¼ barrel, ¼ stainless steel vats, dosage 7 gr/l) The wine has a salmon pink color of medium intensity. The first nose is gourmand, textured, floral and slightly vanilla. On the second nose, we find notes of ripe morello cherry, tangy bigarreau cherry, crunchy strawberry, crushed raspberry, as well as notes of red apple in the background and a beautiful herbaceous freshness (fresh cut grass), which brings liveliness and tension. Then, the wine expresses the aromas of peony, fresh rose in the background, as well as white pepper and nutmeg, associated with a hint of fresh bread, apricot and vine peach. On the palate, the bubbles are expressive, but persistent. We find the tangy and slightly bitter notes of grapefruit and lemon zest, combined with flavors of tangy apricot, bigarreau cherry, raspberry and cranberries in the background. In the mid-palate, we smell peony and a touch of fresh rose. The finish is tense and chiselled, with lemon acidity and grapefruit bitterness. A gourmand champagne, with a beautiful fruity expression, freshness and tension of fresh citrus fruits. Good bitterness on the finish and lively acidity. The foam is intense and persistent.
