Champagne Jacquinot & Fils, Symphonie Rosé, Millésime 2014 – Champagne Rosé

Champagne Jacquinot & Fils, Symphonie Rosé, Millésime 2014 – Champagne Rosé

(50% Chardonnay, 50% Pinot Noir, disgorging: April 2024, dosage 7.4 gr/l) The wine has a salmon pink color with light orange highlights, of medium intensity. The nose is subtly fragrant and spicy. On the first nose, we find notes of fresh raspberry, dried raspberry, wild strawberry, fresh red currants, tart cherry, associated with notes of nutmeg, white pepper, a very delicate layer of caramel and vanilla in the background, of fresh rose, wilted rose and peony. The palate is gourmand, fruity and chiselled, with a lively acidity on the finish. It expresses notes of bigarreau cherry, fresh cranberries (especially in the finish), fresh raspberry, dried raspberry, a touch of blackcurrant in the background, as well as fresh rose, peony, a hint of lilac and faded rose in the background. There is a very light touch of vanilla on the finish, nutmeg and pralines. The finish is persistent, salivating, thanks to a high acidity, but gourmand, thanks to a juiciness of ripe red fruits, perceptible throughout the tasting. The foam is fine and silky. A champagne with verticality and straightness, freshness and a beautiful fruity substance.
