The wine has a pale salmon pink color. The nose is concentrated and textured, with gourmand notes of juicy red fruits: wild strawberries, morello cherries, red cherry jam, crushed raspberries and red currant jelly. We also find aromas of juicy apricot, grapefruit and bitter orange zest in the background, associated with lactic notes of cherry yogurt, brioche and a mineral hint of limestone. The palate is straight, incisive and precise, with the juiciness of ripe fruits (strawberry, morello cherry, crushed raspberry, vine peach, apricot, as well as grapefruit with a slight bitterness), a gourmet lactic note of cherry yogurt, fresh brioche and peony. The finish is quite persistent, tangy and lemony, very refreshing and gourmand, with roundness of ripe cherry on the finish. The foam is delicate and silky. A refined and pleasant champagne, with gourmandise, fruit and complexity.
