The wine has a salmon pink color. The first nose offers expressive floral scents (wild rose, peony, a touch of iris), which are complemented after aeration by notes of fresh red fruits (wild strawberry, bigarreau cherry, crushed raspberry, red currant), blackcurrant, a hint of blueberry, vine peach, pink grapefruit, as well as a fine spicy touch of white pepper and nutmeg. The palate is gourmand, refined and complex. The attack is tangy, with precise notes of bigarreau cherry, crunchy strawberry, cranberries in the background and red currants. In the mid-palate, we find notes of vine peach, a tangy and bitter touch of grapefruit and cherry stone, as well as a lactic hint of cherry yogurt. In the finish, we find a pleasant minty touch (reminiscent of liquorice and peppermint, which brings a lot of freshness) and a fragrant floral bouquet (peony, iris, wild rose). Beautiful sharp acidity and a touch of bitterness on the finish. Precision and finesse.
