(8% Coteaux Champenois, 74% Pinot Noir, 18% Chardonnay) The wine has a salmon pink color of medium intensity. The nose is subtle and fresh. It expresses the delicate notes of fresh flowers (peony, wild rose, cherry blossom), combined with the tanginess of grapefruit, lemon and orange zest. After aeration, we find gourmand aromas of wild strawberry, fresh raspberry, red cherry, as well as a hint of raspberry yogurt and a light touch of toast and honey in the background. The palate firstly expresses a good bitterness of grapefruit and the liveliness of lemon, which are then completed by a tangy touch of crunchy apricot, red cherry, strawberry and raspberry. In the mid-palate, we find gourmand notes of dried raspberry, a hint of wild rose and peony, as well as a touch of toast and spice (white pepper). The finish is lemony, with notes of blood orange and grapefruit. Good length, with chiselled notes of citrusand a pleasant effervescence. A Champagne with tension and freshness.
