The nose is fruity, elegant and offers a racy/controlled power as well as a good definition. It reveals notes of cooked cassis, dry blackberry, small notes of raspberry associated with touches of berries, violet/flowers as well as fine hints of sweet spices, griotte and dry tobacco. The palate is fruity, elegant, gourmand and offers a beautiful definition, precision, tension as well as freshness, concentration (in elegance), justness and a fine acidulous frame. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy cassis, dry blackberry, small notes of small cooked black fruits associated with touches of crushed redcurrant, strawberry, liquorice as well as hints of violet, black olive, tobacco, crushed almond, fine hints of cocoa and an imperceptible hint of coffee (in the background). Good length. Tannins are beautifully built and elegant.
