A lovely fruity, fresh nose, which offers concentration of fruit, a lovely sparkle. It expresses notes of bright cherry, pulpy/bright blackberry and small notes of crushed cassis, as well as hints of cornflower, gravel, concentrated red berries, a subtle hint of almost aromatic herbs/fresh thyme in the background. The palate is fruity and offers juiciness, gourmandise, sparkle, a lovely tangy frame, tension, a racy minerality, energy and vibrance. It expresses notes of juicy/pulpy blackberry, fleshy/tart cassis and small notes of red berries, crushed cherry as well as a hint of cornflower, fine hints of almost discreet chocolate and sage in the background. Good length. The tannins are soft and delicious. A very discreet hint of almost pepper in the background. Energy on the finish/persistence. Lovely freshness, brillance and roundness.
