Ceres 2022 – Haut-Médoc

Ceres 2022 – Haut-Médoc

(100% Merlot) The nose is fruity and offers a certain gourmandise. The wine needs to be decanted. We find notes of pulpy blackberry, pulpy violet plum and more lightly, wild strawberry associated with touches of cornflower as well as hints of almost infusion and mandarin. The palate is well-built, supple, juicy, fresh and well-balanced, with a tangy frame, precision, tension, good definition and a certain gourmandise. On the palate, this wine expresses notes of juicy/pulpy cassis, juicy/pulpy cherry and more lightly, juicy blackberry, associated with an almost red plum touch as well as fine, almost mandarin and chocolate hints. Tannins are racy, structuring and gourmand.
