The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is fruity, tangy and gourmand. It expresses aromas of juicy, fresh and roasted red and black fruits: fresh morello cherry, roasted red cherry, crushed strawberry, blackcurrant and red plum, combined with a hint of violet, white pepper and toast in the background. After aeration, delicate notes of menthol and laurel appear. The palate offers juiciness and fluidity (in a good sense), as well as a good bitterness on the attack. It expresses notes of morello cherry, roasted red cherry, dried red cherry, fresh tangy blackcurrant, raspberry and fresh strawberry, combined with notes of white pepper, violet (in the background) and toast. The acidity is lively and salivating, the finish has an average persistence. The tannins are fine-grained, but grippy and slightly bitter on the finish.
