Cellier des Princes, Couronne du Prince 2022 – Côtes du Rhône

The wine has a ruby ​​color of medium intensity. The nose is juicy, fruity and offers a certain concentration. It expresses notes of crushed wild strawberry, very ripe red plum, morello cherry, redcurrant jelly and raspberry coulis, associated with touches of violet, peony, a sweet hint of chocolate and vanilla, as well as liquorice (even fresh mint in the background) and black pepper. The palate is chiseled and offers a fresh, tangy attack, with a good bitterness and fine but tight tannins. It expresses notes of sour red cherry, bird cherry, wild strawberry, morello cherry, black plum and wild strawberry, associated with notes of liquorice, black pepper, violet in the background and a good bitterness of cocoa. The finish is moderately persistent, with lightness in its fruit, freshness and a salivating acidity.
