The wine has a ruby color of medium intensity. The nose is ripe and fruity, slightly minty. It expresses notes of fresh black plum, prunes, morello cherry, blackberry, crushed raspberry and cherry in kirsch, bird cherry, as well as mentholated touches of liquorice, eucalyptus, fresh tobacco, dark chocolate, white pepper, fresh bouquet garni, as well as dried rose and iris in the background. The palate is velvety and tight, with the power of its tannic structure, but all elegance. It expresses the flavors of roasted red cherry, ripe morello cherry, black plum, prunes, blackcurrant, cherry in kirsch, as well as liquorice, dried mint, white pepper, coffee, toasted, bouquet garni and peppermint. In the retro, we smell a pleasant minty and eucalyptus note, as well as mint chocolate and dried rose. The tannins are grippy, but have a fine texture and are softened by a salivating acidity. Good length, on fruits, a touch of mint and chocolate. Beautiful structure and chew.
