The nose is structuring and slightly powerful. It reveals notes of leather and undergrowth associated with slight notes of blackberry, cassis, raspberry as well as a discreet hint of pepper and a hint of Sichuan pepper. The palate is fruity, fine, sleek, a bit juicy and offers a slight fleshy. In the mouth this wine expresses notes of blackberry, cassis and slight notes of cherry associated with a hint of licorice, tobacco, Ceylan tea as well as a discreet note of flowers and pepper. Tannins are (very) slightly dry. Good length.
