The nose is aromatic and offers power, a certain intensity as well as a small concentration. It reveals notes of wild blackberry, grey pepper, small notes of toasted associated with touches of nutmeg, cardamom, small pulpy fruits as well as fine hints of coffee, incense and vanilla essence. The palate is fruity and offers minerality, a small freshness, an acidulous frame, a hint of bitterness (good bitterness bringing peps and energy) as well as a fine fat. On the palate this wine expresses notes of juicy/fresh blackberry, fresh/juicy cassis, small notes of cherry associated with touches of small berries, mocha, black olive, zan as well as fine hints of sage, toasted, nutmeg and a very discreet hint of vanilla. Good length.
