(100% Merlot. Rosso Passito. Cavazza) The nose offers power as well as an intense and stretched grain. It reveals notes of crushed blackberry, roasted small fruits and small notes of candied strawberry associated with touches of pepper, blueberry as well as fine hints of spices, anise and a discreet hint of laurel in the background. The palate is fruity, well-balanced and offers juiciness, gourmandise, a certain unctuosity, gourmandize, a beautiful definition, tension as well as precision. On the palate this wine expresses notes of pulpy/juicy blackberry, candied blackcurrant and small notes of candied strawberry associated with touches of crushed blueberry, hints of liquorice stick, nutmeg, toasted, tobacco as well as a hint of clove and roasted fruits.
