Cataldi Madonna SuperGiulia IGT Terre Aquilane 2019

The nose is fruity, with a nice delicacy and finesse in its richness, and some melodiousness. We find notes of pulpy nectarine, apple and more slightly fresh lychee combined with touches of fresh apple quenette as well as discreet hints of fresh butter and a subtle imperceptible touch of fresh sage. The palate is fruity, juicy, with a nice acidic backbone, finesse, suavity, some roundness, a little fat in finesse, a nice airy side in the balance. On the palate this wine expresses notes of fresh lychee, quenette and more lightly crisp vine peach underpinned with floral, white flower touches as well as subtle hints of fresh almond and a subtle hint of fresh local sense of place/grove, a very discreet hint of fresh lemon verbena in the background.
